Carmel Farmer’s Market: A Sense of Community and Comfort

July 24, 2013

carmelfarmersmarketIn our day to day grind it’s easy to overlook all the amazing things and people that surround us.  The one refreshing and inspiring thing that I treat myself to each Saturday is getting out and enjoying the Carmel Farmer’s Market.  This runs every Sat until October on the corner of City Center Drive and S.W. 3rd St. in the shadow of the Palladium.  Not only can you do a bit of grocery shopping by scooping up some of the freshest fruits and veggies you’ll ever find but you can also buy fresh eggs, fabulous breakfast foods, and mouth watering chocolates to name a few.  There are booths after booths offering unique foods, decor, and even treats for your pet.  Best of all is the camaraderie and sense of community you feel with every friendly face you meet.  The people in this ever growing community are so welcoming and the entire atmosphere of this community based market is contagious.  I hope to see everyone there!
