Getting in the Swing of the Holidays at the Children’s Museum

December 2, 2013

One of my all-time favorite places to go as my kids were growing up was the Indianapolis Children’s Museum.  Not only do they owinterslideffer displays and activities for children of all ages but I found myself having just as much fun as my kids were.  The holiday’s are no different, and this year the museum has really outdone itself with it’s Jolly Days Winter Wonderland.  There are so many wonderfully family friendly activities to participate in such as “ice skating” in your socks, ice-fishing in a pretend pond, climbing the ice castle, and earning your elf ears.  Plus there will be plenty of visits from Old St. Nick so you and your kids can avoid the chaos that is the mall Santa Claus line.  Still wanting more holiday fun? Reserve your spot for breakfast with Santa which includes a breakfast, holiday arts and crafts, meeting with Santa, and making your own slide bag to take down the Yule Slide.  Like I said, there really is something for everyone so make some time to spend with your family celebrating the season!
